North Benwell Youth Project
A neighbourhood youth project in Benwell, building confidence, skills and aspiration in local young people.
The Reece Family Trust helps people across the North East live healthier, happier lives, funding grassroots charities with a focus on young people and those who are vulnerable.
Figures cover 1 January 2020 to 31 March 2026 and come from our own grants ledger. The last of the four is what the trustees have set aside for 2026-27, so it is a plan rather than a total. See who we have funded.
We back organisations across the North East that help people live healthier, happier lives, with a particular focus on young people and those who are vulnerable.

Safe spaces, mentoring and opportunity for those who need it most.

Tackling food poverty and widening access to mental health support.

Making sport and outdoor activity accessible, and building confidence.

Established by Sue and John Reece MBE and named for their children, Lauren, Greg and Ali, the Trust grew from a simple belief: that the North East which gave the family so much deserves to be given back to.
